In order that flooring surfaces withstand the test of time, Model™ apples an exclusive product to each board. Model Plus polyurethane now contains aluminum oxide, allowing Model™ flooring to maintain a long-lasting lustrous appearance. The distinguishing feature between Model boards and those of competitors is in the final coats of finish containing aluminum oxide that protects the beauty of the finish even longer.

Warranty:
Model offers the original purchaser a five-year warranty against wear on all products manufactured as of April 1, 2005. This warranty covers commercial projects subject to light traffic and not located near entrance ways leading out doors or offering access to streets.
The warranty against wear excludes damage caused by water, use of a wet mop, lack of maintenance negligence, marks made by blows, accidents, scratches, furniture, house pets, high-heeled shoes, erosion, grit, sand or other abrasive substances, extreme environmental conditions, lack of preventive measures or improper protection. In order for coverage to apply, totally worn-out areas must extend over at least 10% of the entire floor. Loss of luster is not considered as wear.
The warranty applies only to flooring installed in compliance with the Model™ residential warranty guidelines. Use of cleaning products other than those designed especially for Model pre-finished hardwood flooring may damage the flooring and automatically invalidates the warranty.
